Sharing data with third parties

We may transfer your data to third parties to process payments, to comply with a legal requirement, and in cases directly provided for by the applicable legislation of Georgia.

Your data may also be shared if the Company's structure changes in the future — for example, on the sale of assets or a merger — provided the relevant party undertakes in advance to protect its security and confidentiality.

In cases strictly defined by law, we reserve the right to give law-enforcement bodies access to your data for the detection, investigation or prevention of crime. In every case we take all measures to ensure its security and integrity.

Data storage and retention period

Data is stored in physical form (test-drive and employee data) and in electronic form on the Company's own computers.

We keep your personal data for the entire period of your service and, after it ends, for at least 8 years — to answer questions and complaints, ensure the performance of warranty obligations, and fulfil obligations defined by law. Data may be stored for longer than 8 years where we are unable to delete it due to relevant legal grounds.

Your rights

In accordance with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:

  • request confirmation of whether your data is processed, with the basis, purpose and retention period;
  • access the data collected about you;
  • request the correction, update or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • receive copies of your data (where available);
  • request the blocking of your data (where available);
  • withdraw a consent you have given;
  • exercise the other rights guaranteed by Chapter 3 of the law.

We act under the legislation of Georgia, which may prevent us from satisfying your request or deleting your data (for example, due to tax or consumer-protection obligations). The Company takes care of the security of your data and is guided by internationally recognized standards.

Limitation of rights

A data subject's rights may be limited where this is directly provided for by Georgian law, does not violate fundamental human rights, is a necessary and proportionate measure, and where exercising them could endanger state, information or cyber security, defence, public safety, the prevention, investigation or prosecution of crime, the administration of justice, the country's important financial or economic interests, the rights and freedoms of others, the protection of secrets provided for by law, or the substantiation of a legal claim or defence.

A limiting measure is applied only to the extent necessary to achieve its purpose, and the decision is communicated to the data subject in a way that does not harm that purpose.

Security measures

We take all necessary organizational and technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying and dissemination, and from other unlawful acts by third parties.

Data collected electronically is stored on secured servers, the website uses an encrypted SSL/TLS connection to protect data in transit, and where hosting located in the European Union is used, GDPR-level safeguards apply. We cannot be held responsible for the full or partial loss of your data caused by cybercriminals or other criminal acts.
